Precautions when shooting

Reservation for photography service]
To use the photography service, you must reserve a kimono and contact our support through the official LINE/ wechat. Please make your reservation at least one week in advance.

[About appointing a photographer]
Riko offers a photographer appointment service, and the appointment fee is 3,300 yen.
If you provide the name and time of your reservation and your desired plan, customer service will arrange for the photographer to take your photo.
For more information, please visit the official website for photographer information or support staff.
Because of capacity limitations and vacation conditions, please contact us at least two weeks in advance.
* Individual photography appointments are not accepted.
For shooting dates longer than 1 or 2 months, please contact the photographer in advance and we will get back to you shortly.
If the schedule cannot be arranged, support will let you know in advance.
* If you do not specify a photographer, we will randomly arrange a photographer on that day.
* If the photographer is unable to shoot due to unforeseen circumstances on the day of the event, no nomination fee will be charged.

[How to choose a shooting spot]
Please refer to the shooting spots listed below for your choice. You can also choose after meeting the photographer on the day of the event, and we recommend that you choose according to the season.
* We cannot accept spots other than Yasaka Shrine ~ Yasui Shrine.
* For the 1-hour plan, given the walking distance and time, requests for A+C, A+D, B+D, etc. are not acceptable.

[How to share the photos]
The photographer will confirm your contact information and upload the photos to Google Drive when the shooting is finished on the day of the tour.
*Photographing is not allowed in spots where photography is prohibited. (Example: Kiyomizu Temple, Ishibe Koji.)
Or we will send a link to you from Baidu's cloud internet. Photo files will be stored for 2 months.
Original photo files will be sent to you within 5~7 days and modified photo files within 7 days of your reply.
*Please note that there will be a slight delay during busy seasons.

[About the process of kimono dressing up to the photo shoot]

We will arrange for you to meet the photographer after the set if possible. Shooting will begin 1.5 to 2 hours after your visit.


The number of shooting teams varies from day to day, so during busy periods, shooting will be done in the order of reservations, and the exact shooting date and time will be announced at the time of your visit.

What we modify in the photo is the light, color adjustments, and skin care (pimples, lines, etc.).
No requests for corrections such as background correction, jaw slimming, etc. will be accepted.
* For photography and retouching, please refer to the photographer on the official website.
The shooting time is counted from "the first picture taken".
The shooting time includes the time spent moving from one location to another after the shooting starts.
* Dressing time is 45~60 minutes.
If your reservation is made late, the shooting order may be delayed depending on the availability on the day of the shoot. Please arrive on time as much as possible so as not to affect the shooting time and schedule.

[Reservation changes or cancellations]
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please contact our support at least 3 days in advance via LINE/ wechat. In case of bad weather conditions such as heavy rain or typhoon, you may cancel your reservation the day before or the day of the event.
