Limited time photography plan

  • About the reservation of the photo shooting plan.
  • Please contact us through our official LINE/Wechat after making a reservation for your visit to our store to request a photo shooting plan. Due to availability, we recommend making reservations at least one week in advance.
  • About the photographer's appointment.
  • Riko also accepts nominations for photography staff. The nomination fee is 3,300 yen.
  • Please tell us the name of the staff member and the shooting plan you would like, as well as the name and time of the customer who made the reservation.
  • Please contact us at least 2 weeks prior to your visit due to availability of reservations, etc.
  • For information on photographers, please refer to the photography staff introduction on the official website, Instagram, etc.
  •  Please note that we may not be able to accept appointments made more than 2 months in advance. In that case, we will contact you at a later date.
  •  For reservations without a nominated photographer, we will make arrangements from among about 15 of our staff members. Please note that we cannot accept any changes on the day of your reservation.
  •  Please note that there may be cases where the staff member you have nominated is unable to take pictures due to unforeseen circumstances on the day of the shoot. No nomination fee will be charged in such cases.
  •  We will arrange a photographing staff for the customer who nominated us. Please note that we may have to adjust the time by refusing other customers. Therefore, we cannot accept sudden cancellations.
  •   If you wish to cancel, please contact us at least 4 days prior to the date of your visit. Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to your visit will be charged 50% of the shooting plan fee (tax included).
  • How to choose a photography course.
  • Please let us know if you have a preferred course of photography. You can choose with the photographer on the day, or we can make suggestions according to the season.
  •  For the 1-hour plan, due to the walking distance and time, requests for A+C, A+D, B+D, etc. cannot be accepted.
  •  Photography is not allowed in spots where photography is prohibited (e.g. Kiyomizu Temple, Ishibe Koji, etc.). (e.g. Kiyomizu Temple, Ishibe Koji Street, etc.)
  • How to receive your photo.
  • After the shoot, the photographer will upload the photos to Google Drive by the end of the day.
  • Or we will send you a link from Baidu Cloud Internet. (Photo files stored for 2 months)
  • The original photo files will be delivered within 5 to 7 days, and the retouched photos will be sent within 7 days after your confirmation.
  •  Please allow a few more days during peak season.
  • From the time of your visit to the time of the photo shoot.
  • Basically, we start shooting 1.5 ~ 2 hours after your visit.
  • However, depending on the number of reservations for shooting, especially during peak season, we will shoot in the order of reservations. We will inform you of the exact start time on the day of the shooting.
  •  Shooting time is counted from the time the first photo is taken, and includes time spent moving from one location to another after shooting begins.
     Dressing time is 45-60 minutes. If you arrive late or take a long time to select your kimono, the order of photo shooting may be delayed depending on the reservation status on the day.
      Please be sure to arrive at the scheduled time so as not to affect the shooting time and schedule. If this is unavoidable, please contact us in advance.
  • Retouching and Correction
  • Corrections to be made to the photo include light and color adjustments, skin care (pimples, wrinkles, etc.). We do not accept requests for corrections such as background corrections, jaw slimming, etc.

  • [About the finish of the photo shoot...]
    Our photography service focuses on documenting your travel experience, highlighting both the scenery and the kimono.
    Please note that since most of the photos will be taken at popular tourist spots, other tourists may appear in the photos.
    Our photography staff will suggest poses and compositions, but it is only with your cooperation that facial expressions and reactions will be natural and lively, so we ask for your cooperation.
    After the photo shoot, you will be asked to review the photos taken that day with the photography staff.
    If you have any questions or would like adjustments, please let us know right away so we can address them on-site.
    After the photo shoot, only post-editing changes will be possible. Thank you for your understanding.
  • 【Change or cancel your reservation】
  • In case of change or cancellation, please contact us at least 3 days in advance via LINE/Wechat.
    (In case of bad weather such as heavy rain or typhoon, cancellation can be made the day before.)
    In case of cancellation on the day of the event, 50% of the shooting plan fee (including tax) will be charged to the person who made the reservation.
